PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Welcome to St. John the Evangelist Catholic School!

At our school we truly value the relationship between parish, home and school.

We are committed to the Catholic Graduate Expectations and the improvement

of student learning.

We all work together to make our school a safe learning place for children to

grow spiritually, academically and emotionally.  We recognize the uniqueness

of all members of our school community and support each other in our

learning.

We encourage all students to participate in school activities and to share their

gifts and talents with others.  It is important to us to spend time and effort in

finding ways to help those less fortunate.  Being an active positive member of

the school community is very important.

Thank you for your support as we strive to continue to provide meaningful

learning experiences for all students at St. John the Evangelist Catholic School.

We are excited to present Paul Davis, a social media expert to our school gym on June 11th at 7pm. He will have presented internet safety to our grade 3-8 students during the day and then shares with parents, during the evening presentation, how best to tackle social media safety at home. He will also cross reference what he has learned from our students during the day. Mark your calendars. He is an amazing presenter and well worth your time. Babysitting available. Bring your mugs for tea, coffee and water. Parent Council will be baking goodies. Hope to see you there. Look for the flyer in the May/June newsletter.
